A remarkable frosting that can be used in combination with endlessly different cakes, cupcakes, and quick breads. Or just eaten straight from the bowl.
In a large bowl
1 stick (113g) salted butter, room temperature
1 package (8 oz, 227g) cream cheese, room temperature
3 1/2 cups (396g) powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon allspice
Pinch of salt
Beat everything together until light and fluffy.
