Fluffy, sweet, sultry, rich, and laden with warm vanilla. It's the little black dress of frosting.
In a large bowl or bowl of a standing mixer
1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 stick (113g) butter, softened
1 cup (227g) heavy cream
2 1/2 cups (568g) powdered sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Beat together the cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy.

Add in the powdered sugar and continue beating until thoroughly blended.

Add the heavy cream, vanilla, and salt, and beat for another 30 to 60 seconds until thick and fluffy—schmear on anything and everything.
